My faith started off in a place of wonder. But for years I got bogged down in the pursuit of simple answers. I think it was the discovery of contemplative practices that finally began to open my eyes again to wonder.

"Are you body or soul/spirit?
I'm both. I'm a synthesis of the dust of the earth and the breath of God. I'm soil with a soul. I'm human from the humus. As the risen Jesus said, "I am not a ghost."
Faith often requires one to embrace the paradox and set one's tent in the land of the not-knowing.
