He isn’t weak, faithless or forgetful.
Let the truth of his strength, faithfulness, and being everlastingly mindful of you slip under any barriers and settle into your heart to bring fresh engagement with him.
‘But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion”, says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
This is the one who wants you to know him and enjoy him forever.
He is utterly reliable and steadily familiar.
he is always surprising us in fresh ways with his creative kindness. How many times have you thought to yourself, ‘He didn’t have to do that, it was such a small thing and doesn’t make any difference in the grand scheme of things.’?
Those small things which we often haven’t even got around to praying for, but he’s heard our heart’s desire and blessed us with them anyway.
How great is the love that the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God – and that is what we are!
1 John 3:1
What an amazing God we have as our Father. Whatever uncertainties we go through he is ever there, as solid as a rock, he’s not going anywhere, and he’s always going to be the same strongly loving, solidly faithful, everlastingly mindful Father, and he’s holding out his hand to you.
